Community Trust seeking two Trustees

As Swansea City AFC’s registered charity, the overarching vision of Swansea City AFC Community Trust is to use the football club’s brand to improve the lives of the people of South Wales.

Its mission is to contribute to developing safe, confident, competent and inclusive communities across South Wales, and to do this by working with partners to improve health and education, and access to sport, training and employment. Last year the Trust worked with almost 14,000 people.

A recent review of trustee roles has revealed that additional members are needed on the voluntary board to support in certain specific areas. The Board of Trustees in now seeking to add to its number with two members who would have responsibility for

1) HR and
2) Inclusion (especially the inclusion of those with disabilities)
