Community Trust launches football sessions for children with Down's Syndrome

The Swans Community Trust are pleased to announce the launch of football sessions specifically designed for children with Down's Syndrome.

Open to those aged five and above, the announcement follows the recent news that the Community Trust will be launching similar sessions for adults at PlayFootball Swansea.

Kicking off on May 2nd, the sessions will run every week between 5-6pm and will cost just £4 per session.

Richard Jones, the Community Trust's Inclusion Senior Manager, said, "Since we promoted the adult sessions to Swansea and the wider community, we have had a great response but have also noticed a demand for sessions specifically for children with Down's Syndrome. I am delighted therefore to announce that as a Trust, we are launching these sessions and we are looking forward to starting them on the same evening as those for adults.

"Again, the long term aim of this programme is to create a sustainable club run by volunteers with the support of the Community Trust," he finished.
