PL Kicks sponsor Morriston Fire Cadets
Premier League Kicks’ partnership with the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service continued to grow this week with the Community Trust’s project sponsoring a local Fire Cadet scheme.
After launching a monthly Fire Cadet League with schemes from across South West Wales, PL Kicks has now sponsored and donated training tops to Morriston Fire Service’s Fire Cadets to be worn at their sessions.
“The partnership between PL Kicks and the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service has grown hugely over the past year and with Swansea’s Kicks project sponsoring the Morriston Fire Cadets shirts, it’s proof of that,” said Liam Ellis, one of our Kicks coaches who attends weekly training sessions with the Cadets.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity for us to get involved with a local community group and helps to show the importance the fire service has within our community. I certainly am looking forward to seeing the Fire Cadets show off their new shirts at the next League night,” he continued.
Elaine Williams, the MAAW Fire’s Youth Development Officer added, “I would like to say a massive thank you on behalf of Morriston Fire Cadets scheme for the donation of the polo shirts. The Cadets are very excited and look very professional in them.
“The support and generosity of the Community Trust is welcome by Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service,” she continued.
