Four Swans represent Wales Under-19s

Swansea City academy players Aaron Lewis, Jack Evans, Keiran Evans and Liam Cullen represented Wales Under-19s this past week as the Young Dragons narrowly missed out on qualifying for the Elite Round of the UEFA U19s Championships.

All four young Swans got game time with Geraint Williams' squad as the Wales side played three games across six days.

The under-19s lost their opening qualifier 2-0 against Greece but came back to beat England 3-2 at the Book People Stadium in Bangor.

Swans striker Liam Cullen was on target as Wales beat Luxembourg 6-2 in their final Group 6 match on Tuesday.

But, despite two wins from three and finishing level on points with England and Greece, Wales finished third in their group and did not advance to the next round due to an inferior goal difference in matches against England and Greece.
