Under-15s runners-up at International Tournament
Swansea City’s Under-15s side finished runners-up at the Premier League International Tournament on Sunday.
The young Swans lost out 2-0 against Manchester City's academy side.
The competition, hosted at Warwick University, pitted eight Category One sides from the Premier League against three European academy teams.
Swansea beat Ajax on penalties in the semi-final earlier in the day after qualifying top of Group B with wins over West Brom and Dinamo Zagreb.
Academy Head of Coaching, David Adams said: "These events provide the opportunity for our young players to be challenged by the best academies from across Europe.
"To reach and compete in the final of this weekend's competition is a testament to all the hard work of the staff at Swans Academy."
Head of Youth Development Phase Jon Grey added: "We are delighted with the performance of the team, which was made up with a number of Under-14 players.
"Watching this group develop and play regular games at a higher level week in week out will only be beneficial for the future of our player development at Swansea City."
