Everything you need to know about the Fun Run
With just one week left until the Swans Family Fun Run, there’s still time to sign up and now there’s even more of a reason to do so.
Not only will taking part help the Community Trust raise money and not only will it help you and your family get on the road to living a healthy lifestyle; there’s some great prizes up for grabs too!
Every person who registers online will be entered into a draw to win two tickets to watch the Swans take on Manchester City in the final game of the season, and in addition to this, we will be hosting a raffle in our Runners Village located outside the Liberty. Prizes to be won include a signed Swans shirt and ball, two tickets to see Swans v Liverpool on 30th April and a night’s stay for two with breakfast at the Morgan’s Hotel (selected dates only).
As well as the raffle, the Runners Village will play host to a selection of local food vendors as well as Siany from The Wave, who will be providing entertainment throughout the day and helping to create the perfect atmosphere to relax in following your run.
For everyone entered, be sure to note down these key times for race day:
9.00 – Car park opens (car parking is free, but there are limited spaces available)
9.00 – Race bib collection open for the 1k in the Swans trailer based in the Runners Village
9.30 – Race bib collection open for the 5k in the Swans trailer based in the Runners Village
10.00 – Start of the 1k run with Cyril
10.30 – Race bib collection open for the 10k in the Swans trailer based in the Runners Village
10.45 – 5k run starts
12.00 – 10k race starts
14.30 – Close
All runs will start promptly; please allow plenty of time to park your car and collect your race bib number.
So put aside thoughts of Easter Eggs and get involved in what promises to be a great day out for you and your family.

*Welsh Athletics Club registered members will receive a discount of £2 on the 10k timed race.
All ages are welcome to run the 1k and 5k but under 9s running the 1k will need to be accompanied by an adult and under 11s running the 5k will also need to be accompanied by an adult.
