Cygnets’ Christmas card winner presented with prize
The winner of our Cygnets’ Christmas card competition was this morning awarded with a tour of the Liberty courtesy of Cyril the Swan.
Daniel Russell, aged 13 from Clydach, was welcomed to the stadium today by the Club mascot where he was presented him with a pack of his winning cards, along with a goodie bag.
The competition asked members of our Cygnets club to get into the festive spirit by creating a design for the Trust’s first Christmas cards.
“I was really excited to find out I had won, it is amazing to finally see the cards and to be presented with them at the Liberty Stadium today.
“I have never had something like this before, it is going to be the best Christmas ever.” said Daniel, who has been a Cygnet for a year,
His design, entitled ‘Seven Swans a-swimming,’ featuring a jolly Cyril and Cybil, will be available in packs of 10 for £3.50 and will be on sale in the Family Zone in the South Stand on the following match days:
- Arsenal (31st October), Bournemouth (21st November) and Leicester City (Saturday 5th December).
- All the money from cards sold will go back into the Swans Community Trust charity.
