Swans youngsters face final pre-season games

Swansea City Under-21s are back in action this Tuesday evening against League Two side Yeovil Town at Huish Park (7.45pm ko).

The Under-21s began their pre-season programme with a 3-1 defeat against Merthyr Town last month before a 2-2 draw against Conference side Wrexham.

The squad returned from a pre-season tour of Holland last week with the side earning two wins and a draw on the continent, including a 9-1 thumping of FC Laakkwartier. 

The friendly against Yeovil will be their final pre-season game before starting their first campaign in Premier League Development League Two at home to West Brom on Monday, August 10.

Meanwhile, Swans Under-18s are also in pre-season action this week.

The young Swans travel to Surrey to play Chelsea under-18s at their Cobham training ground on Wednesday afternoon (2pm ko).

The game will also be their final warm-up match before their season begins in Premier League South at home to Leicester City this Saturday, August 8 at Landore (11am KO).
